Two-Factor Authentication Setup

Enriching security with 2FA

Updated over 6 months ago

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of protection beyond just your password by requiring both your password and a one-time code (via an additional authenticator app or Face ID) to log in. It helps protect your account even if your password is compromised.

2FA is always required when changing information in the Zazu system, when requesting new cards and accounts, and when initiating a new transfer.

How to enable 2FA:

  1. Log in to your Zazu account

  2. Go to Personal Settings > Security

  3. Under Two-Factor Authentication, Click Add Method

  4. Follow the steps on the screen

Once activated, you’ll be prompted for a 2FA code every time you log in, helping prevent unauthorised access, even if your password is compromised.

In the near future, Zazu will enable passkeys and biometrics as a valid alternative for 2FA setups.
