Holidays & Payment Processing Times

What processing times do we observe.

Zazu operates on all business days in South Africa. Here’s what to expect:


Regular business day

• Standard EFT transactions are processed same-day if made before XX
• RTC transactions are available immediately during business hours, unless they are flagged for review.

Public holidays

On any observed South African public holiday no transfers are processed that day. You may initiate a transfer, but it will only be processed on the next business day. Here is a list of key public holidays in South Africa:
